This unfortunate puppy was being kept in a metal cage during the day and managed to get her rear leg between the metal spokes and break her femur just at the growth plate. She has undergone one surgery and had a stainless steel pin placed, but due to her absolute rowdiness post surgery developed complications. She is now scheduled to be transported to a specialist in Russellville, Arkansas (Dr. Dew) where a second surgery will be conducted. If we can just hold her down that long.
